ISO 24712 8601 Information Technology Interchange

This International Standard provides a series of test pages that could be used to test cartridge yields for colour toner and colour ink. The test suite isn't intended to print photos but rather to provide a sample of consumer pages. ISO/IEC 19798 and ISO/IEC 2471 give detailed instructions about how to use these pages.
The specialized system for global standardization is comprised of IEC (the International Organization for Standardization) and ISO (the International Organization for Standardization). Through technical committees that deal with specific technical areas, national bodies that are members of IEC or ISO are involved in the creation and maintaining of International Standards. The ISO and IEC technical boards work together in areas of mutual interest. The work is also carried out by other international organizations both non-governmental and government that are in contact with ISO/IEC. ISO/IEC JTC 1 is an ISO/IEC joint technical committee. It is accountable to develop international standards in the field of information technology.

Test pages in colour for measuring of the consumable yield for office equipment. 1 Scope The purpose of this International Standard is to define colour test pages for the measurement of consumable yield. The test page set includes four "customer" type documents as well as one "diagnostic" documents, which are used for determining the consumable end of ink and toner. These pages can be used for electro-photographic, inkjet printers and multi-function devices that have a digital printing path, i.e. All-in-one machines that can print digitally.

This International Standard contains a list of test pages in common format files that can be used in testing yields that are consumable. These pages are described in ISO/IEC 19988 and ISO/IEC 23711. These pages are meant to represent a few kinds of documents employed in offices and at in the home. These pages are not meant to be used for photo printing or any other special software. 2.
